Who we are and these terms

These terms apply when you use maxicert.com or buy consulting services from MaxiCert. By using the website or accepting a MaxiCert proposal, you agree to them.

  • MaxiCert is a brand of Ntop Solutions LLP, Level 2, NK Towers, Ring Road, Rajiv Nagar, Mysuru, Karnataka 570019, India.
  • For clients in Oman, services are delivered by Arab Pioneer Business Solutions LLC (CR No. 1515653), Al Kuleih Street, Office 8, Al Maydan Plaza, Way 4103, Muscat, Oman.
  • “We”, “us” and “MaxiCert” mean whichever of these companies is named in your proposal. “You” means the person or organisation using the website or buying our services.

If a signed proposal or contract says something different from these terms, the signed document applies.

Our services

MaxiCert is a consultancy, not a certification body. We help you prepare for certification; an independent, accredited certification body audits you and decides whether to issue the certificate.

  • Our services can include gap analysis, documentation, implementation support, training, internal audits, management review support and support during the external audit, as set out in your proposal.
  • We do not issue ISO or other certificates ourselves, and we cannot guarantee that a certification body will certify you, or by a set date. The result depends on your organisation’s practices and the auditor’s findings.
  • Where we introduce or coordinate a certification body, that body works under its own terms and fees. Its audit fees are separate from our consulting fees unless your proposal says they are included.
  • Advice we give is based on the standards and information available at the time. It is not legal, tax or regulatory advice.

Quotes, fees and payment

Your fee is the amount in your written proposal or invoice. Estimates from the website cost calculator, chatbot or a phone call are indicative only.

  • Proposals are valid for [30 days] from the date issued unless they state otherwise.
  • Payment is due as set out in the proposal, normally [50% on acceptance and 50% before the certification audit]. Invoices are payable within [7 days].
  • Prices exclude taxes (such as GST in India or VAT in Oman or Saudi Arabia), certification body fees, travel and accommodation for on-site visits, unless the proposal says they are included.
  • Bank charges and currency conversion costs are paid by the client.
  • If payment is late, we may pause work until it is received. Paused time is added to the project timeline.

Your responsibilities, timelines and cancellation

Certification projects need your team’s time and information. Timelines in a proposal assume you provide these when asked.

  • You will give us accurate, complete information, access to the people and sites we need, and a named contact person.
  • You are responsible for implementing the system day to day and for the decisions your organisation makes.
  • If delays on your side push the project back, we may revise the timeline. Extra work beyond the agreed scope is quoted separately.
  • Cancellation: either side may cancel by written notice (email is fine). You pay for work completed up to the date of notice, plus any certification body or travel costs already committed.
  • Refunds: fees for work already delivered are not refundable. If you have paid in advance for work not yet started, we will refund that part within [30 days] of cancellation, minus costs already incurred.
  • If a project is on hold for more than [6 months] because of your side, we may close it. Restarting it may need a new proposal.

Using the website, tools and content

You may use maxicert.com to learn about certification and contact us. The website content is general information, not advice for your specific situation.

The cost calculator and website chatbot give automated, indicative answers. They can be wrong or incomplete, and they do not create a contract. Only a written proposal from us is binding.

Do not misuse the website: no attempts to break its security, scrape it in bulk, send spam through its forms or submit false information.

The MaxiCert name and logo are registered trademarks of Ntop Solutions LLP. Website text, images, templates and guides belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy or republish them without permission.

Documents we prepare for your project (manuals, procedures, forms) may be used by your organisation for its own management system once fees are paid. You may not resell them or share them as templates with others.

Links to other websites, including certification bodies and ISO, are for convenience. We are not responsible for their content.

Confidentiality, privacy and liability

We keep your business information confidential and use it only to deliver your project.

We share your information only with people who need it for the project, such as a certification body you have chosen, or when the law requires it. We can sign a separate non-disclosure agreement on request.

How we handle personal data, including enquiries from website and Google Ads lead forms, is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Our total liability for any claim connected with a project is limited to the fees you paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, lost contracts or delays caused by a certification body's decision.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to cover our reasonable costs if a claim is brought against us because of false information you gave us or your misuse of documents we prepared.

Neither side is responsible for delays caused by events outside its control, such as natural disasters, government restrictions, travel bans or network outages.

Governing law, changes and contact

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. For projects delivered by Arab Pioneer Business Solutions LLC in Oman, the laws of the Sultanate of Oman apply.

Disputes

We will first try to resolve any dispute by discussion within 30 days. If that fails, it goes to [arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in Mysuru, India], or for Oman projects to [the competent courts of Muscat].

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page applies from the date shown below. Signed proposals keep the terms in force when they were signed.
